I was born in Texas, grew up in North County (two years Encinitas and nine years Carlsbad)

Helped refurbish a warehouse into a homeless shelter, also at 16
At Palomar College, earned a Certificate of Achievement in American Indian Studies at 17
Palomar College Comets swim team at 17
Graduated from Palomar at 18 with two Associates degrees
Currently a junior majoring at Criminology and Justice Studies at Cal State San Marcos
Free time: exploring North County, competitive swimming, art, guitar, computers

Projects and interests: drowning prevention, local access to swim lessons and pool time, increasing voter registration and turn-out, benefits of sports and fitness for all students, benefits of competitive swimming for children who have struggled with other sports, lifelong benefits of swimming, autism awareness, prevention of Type II diabetes, using technology to solve problems and save money

I'm excited about the campaign, City Council's reconsideration of Alga Norte Park in October 2008, and the election November 4.
